i have a shiv tuned custom map for stage 1+ w/ 264/264 cams. i'll be installing the 10.5 hotside along with a new O2 housing next week. shiv will be here in a month for a dyno tune session but i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on tweaking the xede til he comes. is it safe run the current map, am i losing any power with this set-up if i do ?

 

Actually when you put the Hotside, your car will run 2 psi more then before. So you actually make more power instantly. I am not sure if you will hit a boost cut or not. I am pretty sure by putting the 10.5 and O2 hoousing you will not harm the car with current map you are running, just don't go carzy until the next custom tune. What kind of O2 housing are you going with?

 

just turn the boost back down the where you have it now after you install the parts. The tune wouldn't change much at all.

 

O2 housing is made by Authority from LancerShop. I'm also installing the aquamist water/methanol kit and using the second map of the XEDE to activate it.
