XEDE: Flashing red light & boost to 10-15psi max

XEDE has been installed for three weeks. Noticed on the way home tonight that car felt flat. Punched it, checked boost guage and ~15psi @ WOT--normally 20ish. Got home, pulled glove box and instead of the usual green light, I get flashing red light.

Any idea what's going on? Already tried searching. Only found red light issues immediately following installation (Faulty installation). Nothing for red light out of the blue.

Any thoughts...

Don't worry, this is a known problem that pops up rarely and is easily fixed. First, to get rid of the red light just turn your car off and back on again and you are good to go. If this problem really bugs the heck out of you or you get this problem more often than others, you can send your xede unit to vishnu for an "on the spot" fix. They simply cut a tiny resistor off the motherboard and it eliminates the problem.

So, relax.

it happens from time to time. i have made a remote led so i know the status. there is an extra resistor on the circuit board somewhere that is to blame. if you put the key in and to the position just before ignition for 1sec or so then crank it the problem should not occur. if you notice 15psi while driving put it in neutral kill the ignition then restart it. hope this helps.

Hrm is this a known problem with Evo's in general? Because I got this sometimes and I dont even have XEDE. I have a Dynoflash tune on my ECU. ?
