Question Xede boost wire male connector problem

Hey Guys I have a problem I purchased a used Xede and the previous owner cut the boost wire so now I don't have the male connector on the boost wire if anybody knows where too buy a male connector for the boost wire please let me know thanks .

i don't know how necessary that piece is. you can probably skate by just stirping some jacket off and feeding it through the female side maybe double the wire over for more thickness.

it might be better for you just to order a new harness. I wouldnt mess around with splicing into the ECU wiring harness.

nah he doesn't need to splice into the stock harness all he has to do is remove some shielding from the boost wire on the xede harness.

Have you considered getting a whole new xede harness? I don't think it would be that costly.

I was too lazy and clumsy to mess with swapping the boost wire into the ECU harness plug so I bought a harness extension from Z-1 and spliced the Xede boost wires into it and then just plugged it in between the ECU and the stock harness. A side benefit is that returning to stock is just a unplug away...

Go to any Harley-Davidson dealership and ask for either PN 73191-96: Contact socket or PN 73190-96: Terminal pin, depending on which side you need. MSRP for either one is less than a buck.

IIRC Radio Shack typically carries them also.
