Is anyone going to the NASA day this weekend?
we need more evos lol. remember last time dustin's car with shiv driving was the fastest evo on the track. (at thunder hill) we need more vishnu boys. im hoping ill be running but one never knows with my luck.
it will be great.. its close by to bay area as well. in nasa you begin in HPDE 1 or beginners group. here you have an instructor fulll time and he will teach you about teh track and driving fast. you will also have the opportunity to follow an instructor's car to learn the line and brake points. This is the easiest way to get into motorsports.

I would like to setup a day to go to Laguna Seca sometime soon, let me know if anyone finds some good deals / date
You would just need to OK it with the instructor/leader of group 3 at NASA. I'm not sure what your track experience is or how much time you have spent at sears, but that is usually what would dictate what group you run in. You might want to do a session or two in group 2 just to feel it out? It can be quite slow sometimes because you are running with Group 1 also, just less an instructor in your car.
not this time... all the group will be running by themselves this time ... this is gonna be a fast track. if ur in group 2 ur stuck most of the time. you should have gone into group 3. nasa is far more structured than ncrc or what ever group we raced with last time. they are far more cautious about moving people up as then dont want crashes, plus they actually tech cars instead of allowing self techs. You might be able to lie and tell your instructor that you have been out there alot, but i recomend staying in group 2 and learn the track. infineo is a great track as long as you stay on the road, but there is so little runoff, that you really pay for your mistakes!

What are you doing tonight? I need to get word on my new laptop.
Hey ****. I got my Quaife in today and I'd give my left nut to be able to go up and race! It just ain't gonna happen though. I'm afraid I've completely blown my wad for the month. I'd also be lucky to get leave from Evowife.
