i've only had a hard start problem once since i've had v3 for over a month now. idle is smoother and less rpm hunting. also that ticking sound from the relay during hard boost and warm-up is gone.

I have had a few issues with getting my Evo to start, it almost seems like it is not getting fuel. I also have the p0420 eliminator from Vishnu which worked great until I really got on the throttle. Now I am getting an SES light that comes and goes whenever it wants. One day it will be there and the next it won't.

Other than that, the car runs great and I have no real complaints.

You guys all do realize that the V3 release that you're all using is a BETA release. I'm not for one second surprised that there are issues. And I'm also not surprised that people have hard times getting wires from Vishnu to do the update. When Shiv originally posted the V3 update, it was for a BETA release, in which some bugs were still being worked out, but it was for people who wanted to try it out and were willing to deal with the issues.

See here:

So until a FINAL release is out, I don't expect this to work perfectly. Will it stop me from using it? no, but I certainly won't complain about some "bugs"

My V3 have the same hard to start problem, but now when I turn the key to start, I give it a little gas, the car starts right up, before V3 car starts up when you turn the key, no gas paddle needed. Give it a try and see if it work.

Most of us have been custom tunned by SHIV so we know it is BETA . We are posting what is occuring so SHIV has some input. We are the beta testers since we agreed to run the BETA product.

My car runs better with V3 Beta but at the same time I want to make VISHNU aware of what has occurred since I had my car custom tunned at the SOCAL dyno day

Just like Snoop said we all know that the program is a Beta version. However, if we don't let Shiv know what problems we are having, then how is he going to fix the minor glitches in the software...

I went V3 last Sunday at the Atl dyno weekend. All was well until this afternoon when car refused to start after lunch. Like was stated earlier, you would have thought that I was out of gas. It finally started, but engine light stayed on. Oh well, I expected the light sooner or later.

Well Shiv hasn't been to the Aloha state. And he said "We have a beta version of V3 that has worked quite well on the cars we have tested it on"

Guess it wasn't your car??

Well, some people sounded like they thought this thing should be flawless and I just wanted to reiterate the beta point.

Your right ! Plus Shiv only came out with it in Feb so we's only had a few months to work it + he's a pretty busy guy.
