My stage 1 +

Vishnu dynoed my car using their dyno and it landed on 275. Any way to increase the horsepower to more than 300 in DD.
PS.
A guy with a stock 2005 E55 wants to race 1/4 mile. This will be a close match. Or may be not.

If you beat him out of the hole (awd) and hit your shifts right, you should beat him by about 1/2 of a car length.

E55 weighs around 4000 lbs (I've seen it reported from 3800 to 4200 lbs curb weight iirc)

4000/469 crank hp = 8.52 lbs per hp

3260/385 crank hp = 8.42 lbs per hp

Run a test pipe instead of your highflow cat and you'll pick-up around 15 whp and some spool.

dd drive line loss is 40%. 1.4 x 275 whp = 385 crank hp fwiw.

Just remember, his automatic gives him perfect launches everytime and all he has to do is hold on and wait for the finish line, or for you to make a mistake, so if you beat him the first time, don't let him have a re-match

good luck trying to beat the E55. You're gonna need a bit more juice than that to beat it. E55's are fast.

I saw a E55 run 11.5's last weekend. But he was also running a 75 shot. I don't think you have a chance on pump gas or race gas.

Thanks guys. I have a straight pipe but have not used it because of legallity issues. Do I need to upload a different map? I'm planning to just use the test pipe and use 100 octane gas then upload the 100 octane map. This should work.
PS.
I rode that E55 and it always burns rubber everytime you do a hard launch. It's still using a bad tire (Continental tires). But that thing pulls after the ESP stops flickerring.

stage 1+ on race gas will beat that car from a launch on the street for sure... i have beaten z06's with intake headder exhaust, an 04 cobra with pulley i/h/e running arround 450whp. a stage 1+ car on race gas is no joke on the street.. providing you know how to launch.

^ yeah but if he doenst kut a 1.6esq 60ft type launch he'll get eaten alive by the e55. all he has to do is put his foot on the gas pedal and he'll run 12.2s all day long.

My experienced on launching this car was with the M5 (01 or 02), the last model. I was able to out accelerate it till we let go at 80 mph. So I can pretty much launch this car competitively.
