well, i had a bad case of cold start problems but it did not matter if the car was cold or hot, the car would not start for ****, and that was all the time. today i decided to install the new firmware and it was like a miracle, i turned the car on and off like 5 time in a row after i had just installed it and everytime the car started like a charm. i drove the car around today like 4 or 5 time stopping here and there and it always started right away. i dont know what you guys added or changed but this thing works .
anybody with V3 and problems like this should definitely upgrade to this new version.
just thought to let everybody know.

There's a new version of V3 beta firmware? I tried looking but all I could find was this https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...=134946&page=1 with no fix. If you could point out where this new V3.1 firmware is, I'd appreciate it.

 

Yep.. it's a sticky. Give it an upload and let us know if you like it. We're doing a few nifty things with the CAS and MAF replication. Kinda leading up to the next evolution of V3... dun dun dun.

Oh, I have the same problem with startup, issues every time no matter what. Then after I got my remote LED hooked up I noticed something. If I just wait until the LED starts flashing orange with the key in the on position and then crank the car, it starts up every time, but if I try to just throw in the key and start cranking right away, it won't start. It's like the XEDE needs time to load a map or something of that sort.

it seems to be workin on every car so far... i cant wait to get dustin to perform a "DUSTIN FLASH" for me tomorrow. i heard he adds about 4 whp as well by simply sitting in the car.

 

^ i bet ur rite. when he took my car for a spin he said it was faster than his. granted him and steph combined probly weigh only 45 pounds more than me lol.

btw i was like the 2nd person to get this 3.1 or wutever it is, works great!
