Everything seemed to work just peachily. Dustin's has been running the new firmware for a little while now. It interprets old v2 maps perfectly (although the changes to load variables still need to be made). The new firmware also incorporates the smooth start-up fix so just one firmware upload is all you need. Once upgraded, you will have to use the new version of XMAP v3. That will be posted up as well. It's too big of an attachment to post up here so we'll have to put it on the site. Hopefully, this will all be done today...

Cheers,
shiv

Question

I've repaired my timing tables, but I ran the bad versions for a couple weeks. What issues would the halved timing tables have caused?

None at all. It's merely a display issue.

Hi guys,
The newest beta version of both XMAP and the new Firmware can be downloaded from here:

http://www.vishnutuning.com/xede_support_evo.htm

The XMAP file is merely in executable. To make it work, put it in your current XMAP v3 folder and open it up from there.

Remember, the new firmware and software must be used together.

These updates fix the ignition-retard-cuts-in-half problem as well as the cold start start-up issue. You'll also notice a few other things in the software-- more on that later...

Toodles,
Shiv

Shiv, is this the same Xmap and firmware verison that is listed in the sticky at the top of the forum? I just updated my Xede to v3 and d/l'ed the Xmap 3 software from Chiptorque. Do I need to do all of it again with the software you just listed above?

Yes... the firmware and software I'm talking about in this thread is brand new.

Mines showing an "error loading xflash.dll."

Is this a big deal, or something to be concerned about?
Also, when I click on one of my maps it automatically opens the previous Version of xmap. Its V3, but the one without the cold start fix. Anyway to re-associate the maps to automatically open the most recent version, or do I have to open xmap first then open the map?
