I'm confused now, when I entered the values manually did I change my map values?

I'm wondering this too. But when I changed them my car now feels like it did on v2, so I think that changing them manually didn't mess with anything. Bump for shiv.

If the car was tuned with the original V3 installed will the timing tables still be good? In other words, the car would have been tuned to the load presented not to the numbers on the screen correct? If the older version of the V3 is installed does the new V3 need to go in and if so will it automatically show the correct timing numbers? Sorry for all of the questions.

Bump for bundled version! I have an auto-x tomorrow and wouldn't mind testing the new xmap and firmware out then, and I get "error loading xflash.dll" too. Get out of starwars land Vishnu.

Try copying the xflash.dll from your XUpdate directory to your XMap3 directory.

great man that worked perfectly... now to update my firmware. I noticed in the new xmap there is a selection for update firmware. Is this functional or should I still use xupdate?

Shiv,

I just updated to the latest firmware revision that you posted in this thread and I have a question for you. I noticed that the latest firmware is some 3X larger than the previous one. Why is that exactly? Are there other cool things that have been added that we can't access w/ the xmap software right now?

Greyson, how did you get around the "com port COM1 invalid ,may be used by another program" message? did it still connect?

Jorge, I got no such errors when I did the latest firmware update. I did get a checksum error, so I redownloaded the file and didn't change the filename like I did previously to remind myself which firmware version was the newest. It updated without a hitch.
