I would prefer earlier dates like sometime in June, but I guess it will have to do. Sign me up for a 'pretty sure' Xflash/Xede 2 maps (boost control) + 2 maps (no boost control).

 

GRD is not a true 4wd dyno. Beside those guys a expensive!!!

 

Nothing is definite yet, Have to have X amount of people to show interest 10-20 for sat/sun. please put down if interested, Detroit area. If not enough interest, then NO dyno. ANYONE know who can tune XEDE in midwest? need back up plan, dont want to keep driving on race-gas map as the fuel is expensive. Only got to dyno 1 map last year in Chicago!

 

AFAIK, Martin at AMS should have no problems tuning a XEDE. Would be nice to have Shiv's on that one though...

This may be heresy, but from what I've been able to tell by talking to different ppl and from reading (way too many) threads on EvoM, IMO the XEDE and AMS turbo kits make for a very nice (read: potent) combination...

I am gracefully backing out of organizing this event, because if Vishnu says there are NOT enough people, then it is a "NO GO", and I have some tuning to do before the next Winged warrior show, and need a car fine tuned to whoop on the domestic muscle that I anticipate will be there! I can't live on the we'll do it IF...............Scenario.

I am sorry to hear you say that. The unfortunate reality of the situation is that if we don’t have enough people committing to the day, we loose money, and precious R and D time by coming out. We are constantly working on bringing you, our great customers, new products and if we are losing money and time that could be spent on research, then we simply cannot commit to such an event. The thread has only been building interest for a day or two; let’s see how it pans out, before we write it all off.

 

I'll be patient Dustin, I just dont know how many people is enough, and I dont want to scramble around end of July looking for a "tune" as the next "show" is scheduled for shortly after July. I am calm now, will wait, and take back the reigns..Lets sign up NOW! I'm Not Mad Dustin, I understand about R&D, and lost money comming out for 2-5 cars!

If there are more people who would be "IN" if it was in CHI-town, then thats where we'll do it. I will make 2 lists, Michigan and Chicago we'll see which list is longest, and do it there.

I am getting nervous about this not happening. Smoked, I hope you can get this together. Bought the xede with hopes that it could be eventually tuned by Shiv this summer. I'd rather have shiv tune it himself but as far as a backup, Dan from Garage Defeat expressed some interest in tuning mine, and I may end up having to go that route or even AMS, but I don't know how many more times I can take the "should have bought an AEM" speech again.

If it's Chicago or Grand Rapids, I'm in. Anything further, and I will unfortunately have to abstain...
