Anyone else comming with 280's/Alcohol injection/RS turbo ? if so, I have questions. How many with the big boy turbos showing up?

Dustin, if you are peering in, is there an extra charge with the alky/h2o kits as far as dyno? I dont know if it is complicated to do or not!

Smoke, I have the same idea of alkyl injection. All I need now is the kit and an Xede.

Great Idea, go get an Xede and pick up an alky kit from AMS. There are installation guides on here somewhere isn't there? You can come down here in June and we can have a "group" install day for the Alky, later, Kevin

Kevin, sound very interesting on the "install day". I probably will get the smc version from buschur and we can compare.

I was thinking about getting a Diesel map, as well as a reverse osmisis hydrogenated water map but............ I guess you can, but you would have to take the car off the dyno and re-fill and recirculate the fuel you want mapped I would guess,. I am doing map 1 with 93 unleaded, start dyno with 1/4 tank of 93, then when tuned properly, dump 10 gallons of the 109 unleaded to get my "race" map, If I was doing a third map, what would I do with the gas in the tank for map 2? drain it or drive in empty and re do the map? I dont know how to do more than 2 maps, but I guess you could, but surely would have to "Unstrap" after each 2 maps.

IMO a low octane map will come in real handy when I take my car on a road trip out west. Some parts of Wyoming, South Dakota, etc. only have 87 Octane (or less ) ... and I really don't want to end up having to bring like 10 gallons of Toluene in my trunk.

Ludikraut, i never heard of a 87 octane being the highest in a state!!!!, are you going to have 5 gal. of 87 octane with you, or does Shiv have maps dynoed on 87?

Decided against the alky this time, will come with RS titanium turbo and HKS 280 bump-sticks, and the new VP racing fuel, made for 4 banger turbo motors, the MS109 UN-leaded. Am gunning for 400+ AWHP. do I have a chance? we'll see.

I completely understand this - I've been on road trips into the distant wilderness where you don't trust the 91 octane premium pump (did they fill it this year, or last?) and the other local gas is just so bad that the car starts coughing within a couple of miles. It would be great to click over to the "saftey map" to burn that tank off.

That or I need to start taking my vacations in more civilized locations. But then I'd miss out on those big "Night Danger" road signs (really) with a picture of a charging moose.
