Yah at the end of a long drive (bout an hour and a half or so) at idle I heard a clicking noise. The noise started really late in the drive, like in the last few minutes. I was in traffic so I had plenty of time to listen to the engine at idle.

I shut off the engine, gave it about 10 minutes and started it up again and it now sounds fine. I was wondering if anyone has any clues as to what caused this... I hit 7500rpm about 2 or 3 times during the journey fyi and the clicking also seemed to be eminating from the valvetrain.

 

Check your Oil boy!

 

The oil level is in between the two dots.

 

You need oil, add some until its on the top dot.
