How many people running Methanol/Alchy injection?
I've got the snow system with MAF (yes MAF not MAP) progressive controller. The reasoning for that instead of boost or throttle trigger is to maintain a ratio of alcohol to inlet flow. Boost drops at higher rpm but inlet flow increases. Any other trigger than flow would create a lower octane condition at 6,000rpm than 3,000rpm. If you can only have one parameter trigger, MAF just seemed the most logical parameter to track.
Unfortunately the kit's been sitting in the box in the garage since my new offshore fishing boat came in 3 months ago. If I get a rain weekend I'll install it. My poor evo has been taking a back seat to the boat (60mph in rough water has to be experienced). Hopefully won't have any issues with the MAF signal.

Has anyone tried using Pin 3 in the XEDE's grey connector to feed a programmable 0-5v signal into the pump controller/driver box. Not directly to the pump since that would have much higher current demands. But to the pump driver. You would be generating your own MAP signal so no more having to muck around with those Onset, Ramp-up and Max knob values. Just keep the Max pump pressure and Ramp-up rate high and the onset/switch pressure low. The latter are essentially arbitrary since you can now adjust meth/water delivery with the programmable MAP table.
Here's what the Meth/Water map would look like (depending on the size of the jet and the pressure of the pump, of course):

This turns out to be a far better solution that having to fiddle with 3 knobs and compromise yourself to the results it delivers.
Cheers,
shiv

Shiv, could I use Pin 3 to control the flow rate of my High Speed Valve or would I eliminate the HSV and hook up a signal from Pin 3 to my fiA2 fuel injection amplifier? I am presently using the signal from my #1 fuel injector off of the ECU which seems to be working fine in conjunction with my XEDE. I would like to integrate your new SMART system in the future to control my Aquamist 2D. See the schematics below for a reference.

If you do chose to use the wastegate output to drive the WI valve, check the impedence of the valve and compare it to the impedence of the boost control solenoid. Make sure they are similar. I've never used the Aquamist system so I'm not too familiar with it. But it would be nice to have a 3D mappable water/meth system that uses a solenoid with fixed system pressure for delievery. Might be worth trying out. Of course, you will need to use something else (MBC, EBC) to control boost since you would be using the wastegate control output for water injection control.

Pin 3 it is. Thanks Shiv. The input to my snow progressive MAF controller is 0-5 volt. I'll try hooking it to Pin 3 and programming a 3d map. Gotta love that exede. Much better capability than any of the other piggybacks I have (power commander, Yoshimura).
I made a control box for my Aquamist 1s system that I am going to run off the water sprayer system in the XEDE. I only use water for its cooling effects and det control. I don't have the cool Aquamist high speed solenoid valve so using the progressive system won't work for me.
As soon as I get my Evo back together, I am going to try it.

i am running it (SMC buschur / dynoflash setup) and tuned my aem ems by switzer performance. I LOVE it . I made 489 awhp dynojet on 93 octane and 50/50 alky/water injection at 25 psi with my gt35r. The kit is super easy to use and runs off boost. It has a start of alky spray boost trigger then you set where it hits peak spray and it ramps accordingly and automatically.
