How many people running Methanol/Alchy injection?

Title says it all. Just want to see how many people here run Meth injection in their EVOs. And if so, do you use a MAP sensor to trigger it. If not, what do you use?

Shiv, I am running a Aquamist 2D water injection set up. My pressure switch activates the pump at 10 PSI. The flow rate is controlled by a high speed valve that moniters/mirrors the #1 fuel injector. I will be seeing you here in So Cal for a custom tune at Tuning Technologies.

I would love to use it if adequate safeguards were in place for both the engine and the driver. Damn, my car would be truly scary on methonal...

WELL...... I've had a kit installed in my car for about 4-5 months now. As you know Shiv, I was the one suffering from a leaky nozzle when you came to Dallas to tune last time. Since then, I've gone to a standalone and will finally get tuned for the alcohol on July 9th barring unforseen circumstances. It'll be running on top of a White Rabbit turbo so hopefully it will make a good amount of difference over my current setup.

Funny thing is, if it hadn't been leaking and you had been able to tune it out that day, I probably would have never considered buying the turbo upgrade.

Go figure...........

Congrats on the new XEDE stuff by the way. If I had known it was coming I never would have switched over....... Water under the bridge now..... ECU is LONG gone and the XEDE is in very happy hands..........

To answer your initial question though.... it is a progressive controller that runs off of boost pressure........

Same here. If I need an extra little burst, I'll switch maps and run race gas.

I am installing the AMS kit tomorrow, with the TME turbo and 280 cams. I will be going to Dyno4mance on saturday July 2nd to dyno tune it. I had to go to GMparts direct to get the MAP sensor and "pigtail" dont know any more than that, but Andrew will have my info/dynoed Maps if you want to call him next sat. Use my car to take it to the edge!

Ludi wont use Alky injection probably because he has a bottle of "Jack" under his seat, and If he smells Alky in the car, he wont know if he has a leaky nozzle, or he just burped! too confusing I guess. Just kidding Ludi, is AMS done yet, and when is your strap-down? need to see numbers!

Ha! If I have any bottles under my seat, they will be Erdinger Weissbier.

Car is pretty much done, but AMS' dyno took a crap a couple of days ago, so it won't be tuned until the end of this week

I am running the aquamist 2c system but is having a hard time interfacing with the XEDE. I am currently running it off the injector duty cycle w/ pressure switch trigger until we can find a permanent solution.

Looks like we'll be on the dyno about the same time! it also appears we have the same taste in bier! after living 5 years in Germany (near Munich) and 5 consecutive Oktoberfests, I settled on the Hefe Weizen myself! Kudos to your taste!
