$499 Buschur kit: http://www.buschurracing.com/cgi-bin....cgi?18X376545

Most kits out are modified versions of SMC's kit - here's the page with the subie one: http://www.smcenterprises.com/subaru.htm

Aquamist makes high end kits as well: http://www.aquamist.co.uk/cp/cp.html

Yep.... you use the 0-5v output from the MAPout wire (solid purple Pin 3 grey connector) to generate the MAP signal (without needing to use the MAP sensor, of course). We will offer a kit specifically for this application giving you whatever you need. Hang tight for mapping info..

I'm still a little awe-stricken that it actually works.

Maps'ses? we don't need no stinkin' Maps'ses. Lemme give it a try without seeing the software:

FUEL
Fuel signal (wideband _and_ MAF) -> Xede Input - > read Fuel map point -> Get SMART -> Fuel threshold -> Adjust against fuel map -> Xede out [edit: ] oh i guess you could technically add injectors in there if those are now supported.

TIMING
CAS + buffered knock -> Xede input - > read cas map point -> Shop Smart, shop S-Mart -> Timing threshold -> adjust timing-> Xede out

BOOST

MAF + Tach -> xede input -> I am so smart, S-M-R-T -> calculate phantom MAP value -> adjust Boost output duty cycle.

METH:

Not really a diagram since there are no inputs. Effective octane is raised thus reducing knock activity and causing everything else to adjust more agressively. Well, not everything. If you want more boost, you still have to crank it up.

d
Not nearly good enough Try again. See here:

Shiv, I have the Buschur (SMC) kit hook up and waiting for you to come to the midwest for a tune. I just intalled the Xede unit running a stage 1++. Smart stuff on ordered. Now the thing about the smc kit is that it does have a progressive controller. So how will this be incoperate into the SMART?

Allright . You'll like the way the High Speed Valve works with your set up. What size nozzle/jet will you be running?

Glad to hear that. I've been experimenting myself with a 1.0 mm jet and it seems a bit too much. I've also added some methanol to my water and I may have to reduce it down to a .7mm or .8mm jet. I'll be seeing Shiv this Saturday for a custom tune, so we'll see what happens.

If you are still running the 2d, I'd like to see your fuel and timing map. My custom map may be a little off since I used an on/off switch for the WI map since I couldnt get the XEDE to work with the aquamist. I'm currently running about 25% methanol.
