Preferred boost source

My shop is finishing up an install of an AMS 3071 turbo kit on my Xede equiped EVO. We're wondering what is preferred for the boost pressure source.

Vishnu is closed today so no one there is available to answer the question.

The turbo has a plug in the compressor that we could tap into or we could tap into the lower ic pipe (like stock). Another option would be to take it off the manifold.

Anyone know what Vishnu recommends?

Thanks

Lower I/C or turbo will work the same. Just make sure that the nipple is located near the turbo if you put it in the I/C pipe. I wouldn't tap it off the manifold personally.

I used a QuickTap from ATP (which sticks the nipple in the coupler) and it works good too.

He is talking about a boost source for the wastegate and solenoid, not a boost gauge .
