Help with boost issue

Help with boost issue

Hi I still have a problem with my car ever since I install ma camshafts an cam gears I can not run anything higher than like 1.28bar ( 18.5psi) at 4000 rpm it hits like 1.58bar (22.9psi) before 4000 rpm but at the 4000 rpm it drops to 18.5 psi and slowly goose to like 19 psi anybody have any suggestions what to do I tried to adjust the boost table in the XEDE but noting works

you need a dyno tune to smooth out the boost-map/spike I believe,barring the fact you have no boost leaks. my 2c

Check your cam gears to make sure they aren't off one tooth.

I agree that you are going to need a tune, you might have a boost leak as well..

When you zero out the boost table in the XEDE, does the boost drop to 12-13psi?

Yes it dropped to 11.5psi .

What is it at 100%? And did you remove the pill in the boost line (near the boost control solenoid)?

At 100% is like 22.9psi and yes I remove the pill and have a XEDEFlash .

Hi I think my problem is that I am hitting like 23psi but cant hold it because of my stock DV could that be a problem because like I said I can hit 23psi but then drops it to like 17-18 psi and then slowly climes up to 19ish psi .
