Launch Control --- When will it be available?
And a standard 2 or 3 step rev limiter is very useful. It means that you can concentrate on the christmas tree instead of your tachometer and be sure that you are at the right RPM (Pro Solos have drag starts, too, so it isn't just for drag racers).
And the tertiary rev limiter when you shift is also very useful because your RPMs fall just like when you let off the throttle, so the clutch and tranny don't take as much abuse (compared to a WOT shift without the limiter). And the turbo stays spooled up. Even during my horribly slow shifts, boost only falls to maybe 15psi during shifts.

Agreed....antilag is not nearly as useful as a studderbox launch. There just aren't that many BIG turbo guys out there... and if they do have a big turbo they are usually packing AEM. All types of racing require good launches.... not just drag racers. Not everyone is gonna be running SMART. Everyone wants to launch hard.
The studderbox launch is definatly the hot ticket and NLTS (no lift to shift) would be used by just about every racing the evo.

Launch control/No Lift shift is now done. And it took a whole 15 minutes to actually do it!

Just zip your map and post it up here. And I'll add the map and post it right back with the launch control map added in there. Just like I did with gnulooks55 last night.
