SMART has Arrived
He wasn't an ***, I was about to go off since it has been covered many many many many many many many many many (get the point yet) many many times......
I think he covered it quite eloquently and is correct on all points.

Did closed loop boost control make it into this version of the firmware / Xmap?

...it definitely wont be using the stock 02 will it
...I mean the SMART upgrade only comes with a freaking wideband...does it not....
that’s why I brought up the question...
i know that, "Smart Software, Knock Box, Wide Band O2 Controller w/ Bosch sensor, and OBD-2 Diagnostic Tool" but if you refer to my initial question, i was asking if instead of welding the bung for the 02 sensor if i can just remove one of the factory ones and replace it with the wideband sensor w/CEL fix since the ecu wont be tuning A/F anymore, the SMART system will
Yes, you can, but that was answered already. Depending on which O2 you're considering removing or what position the bung is in, it might not be a good idea. BTW, the ECU still wants to know what's going on with emissions related stuff, which is what the factory O2 sensors are there for.
Basically, don't replace the front O2 with the wideband, it's too close to the turbo, too hot, and the ECU still wants to know what that O2 has to say.
If your aftermarket exhaust places the rear O2 below the 9 or 3 o'clock positions, don't use it due to condensation issues shortening the life of the sensor.
Also, do not use the rear O2 position if you still have a cat.
Lastly, the best solution is to weld a bung at the tail end of the downpipe, before the cat, at the 12 o'clock position.

Mine arrived yesterday while I was at Tuning Technologies getting my AMS 3071 kit installed. My car is not quite finished yet so I think I will have them throw on my SMART kit.
