Got mine too, but you couldn't include the instructions when you shipped? For $15 shipping/handling I would kind of expect they would show up with the product. Will you make it a sticky when it posts?

Thanks,
Sam

We haven't published the instructions because we are still finalizing the newest version of XMAP. We're just in the process of eliminating some editable parameters since messing with them, intentionally or unintentionally, will cause big problems. It should be done by the end of the day and posted online tomorrow. Along with the necessary firmware and maps.

I have heard that the O2 sensor has a bung for the SMART that has to be welded on...if true, cant we just use one of the existing O2 bungs on the car and place a CEL fix for the replaced o2 sensor??? Because the SMART wont be using the stock o2 sensors any ways...right???

it could be put in one of the existing O2 bung.....BUT it is highly suggested that the sensor be place about 3 and 9 o'clock.....the closers to 12 o'clock the better. The reason they do this is because condensation can get in the sensor and screw it all up if mounted too low.

just a quick bung idea...have it welded into the neck of the cat before the catalyst or into the test pipe...so the muffler shop or whoever does it for you won't have to screw anything up taking the DP off. good idea? i don't know but makes sense to me.

Guys, o2 sensor placement has been covered in like every one of the previous threads, as well as several on that topic alone.

o2 bung must be welded in, NO CLOSER than 12" from turbo, BEFORE cat. best placement is in downpipe just before cat at 12 o'clock position. if you have a TEST PIPE, i believe you can remove the rear stock o2 sensor and use that existing bung. CANNOT USE front o2 bung, as it is too close to turbo.
