I am reusing the purple wire from the firmware upgrade......and running that to the green wire on the ECU harness.

Or....make one

I did find one bug in the config though....not related to speed of rev.....because I have a stock clutch, I set my launch RPM to 5k ....well when rowing through the gears....if you run to redline the car will still cut fuel even when the clutch is out....not sure why. I am hoping it was just me....but I dont think so.
are you resting your foot on the clutch pedal? my bet is you are, it takes like 1/4 inch of pedal movement to activate the rev limit. Make sure your foot is on the floor, not on the clutch pedal and try it again. I did the same thing!

how are you mating 2 female connections together? i thought about ordering them, but didn't know which size pins were required for the stock sockets. i thought it would need to be a pin like the one used for hooking up boost.

Simply remove the green wire from the harness......twist an extention wire around the connector and run it to the purple wire....twist those ends together and cover both connections with electrical tape. Completely reversable and still very easy to reuse the purple wire for future firmware updates.

IV. Now comes the wiring. Start by locating the brown wire on the wideband harness. Connect this wire to the purple wire going into the xede.

according to instructions the purple wire is for the brown wire from the wideband.

I am not using SMART......but you could always make a jumper wire.....splicing into the two wires before and after the connector.

Did you get this issue resolved?

I was playing around/testing this evening and set the limiter to different levels. I didn't have your problem, but I did notice that when I set the limiter to -100 in the first column for 50% and higher then I could not rev at all it seemed that fuel was getting cut at 1,000. My theory is that the Xede either uses the values in the 4900 rpm column for all rpm values below 4900rpm or that it interpolates the values down to 0 at 0rpm (making 1,000rpm value -20).

So the question is, am I correct with this theory meaning that we MUST have all 0s in the first column of the table to get this to work correctly?

Yes, you are correct! If you put a value in the first rpm column, that value will apply from that rpm all the way down to 0 rpm. Similarly, the same goes from the last rpm column dictating the value from that RPM on upwards to 15,000rpm

I just moved my LC to 6k....works fine but the stock clutch doesn't like the 6k stutterbox much!
I do more road racing than drag racing so its not a big deal.

what is the best map configuration to get the best rev recovery rate? I mean the faster bounce back.

is the clutch trigger wire that the XEDE taps from just an open/closed switch? I have been reading about a lot of people tripping the fuel cut by resting their foot on the clutch pedal in between shifts...

would it be possible/optimal to place a switch under the clutch pedal that the XEDE can run off of? So the LC will only engage when the clutch pedal is completely depressed...kind of like a full throttle nitrous switch

just an idea i was thinking of today...the only problem i can think of with this is, when you are staging and about to launch, i generally start to release the clutch slightly when the tree begins to drop down and fully engage the clutch at the final yellow...with a switch under the clutch i wouldnt be able to do this
