The idle is rich right now. Remember, I'm not recirculating my BOV right now. When idling, my wideband is reading between 10:1 to 15:1. I'm assuming that the rich readings are due to the BOV. Shiv also set the idle set screw so the engine wouldn't stall and die. It currently idles at about 1500 rpm.

One thing that does annoy me is driving the car in heavy traffic. When I deaccelerate in first or second gear, it seems that I'm getting extra fuel feed right at about 1500 rpm. It's a bit disconcerting to get a dose of acceleration right when you think you're coasting to a stop. Is this something that I can tune around with the Xede?

BTW, I had Shiv reflash my ECU to scale for my larger injectors. Would this help with your A/F ratio issues?

One thing that I didn't mention was my dyno results. I got 320hp on 91 and 350 on 100 octane. This was with the boost set at 20psi and 25psi. Since some of you have similar setups, what do think I should get when I raise the boost up a bit?

20-30hp more on pump and maybe 40-50hp more on 100oct. Its good to see you going again.

The drivability issues should get much better when you go back to a recirc BOV, which should also allow you to dial down the idler screw. The fact that you're set to idle at ~1500rpm is probably what is giving you that "surge" when you're coasting down. You could tune around that with the XEDE, but I wouldn't recommend it, since the BOV should be able to address that issue.

Your ECU needed to be rescaled, otherwise your AFR would be much worse.

Also, before you simply "raise the boost" ... you should double check with Shiv on how aggressive the timing is on your current tune. For example, I was originally tuned to boost to between 20-21psi on 93 Octane. On the final tuning session at AMS I asked Martin to raise the boost to hit between 22-23psi, but he had to take out timing across the board to get there (ECU started to pull timing due to knock sensor activity). An interesting thing to note was that the car actually made more low-end power with the lower boost/more timing settings, but then made more power up top with the higher boost/lower timing setting.

Hey Eric, sorry to hear of your troubles. I just finished up my turbo kit install with the 3037...I also have the Greddy RS as a VTA at the moment until I can get a bung welded to the new intake pipe. The Greddy RS does have an optional part that allows you to recirc it so I would look into that. If you are back in Seattle now I'd like to check out your kit sometime.
