Congrats on the build, I remember first seeing your car going down the strip with just stage 1+, now look at you, probably making close to twice the power now on high boost. Congrats again and I can't wait to see your car go down the strip.

Congrats on the engine/turbo choices. As you know, the 35r will not disappoint especially w/ the increased spoolup of the 2.3.

The only thing that would concern me are the limits of the ECU/Xede esp. on racegas.

Keep us updated.

Cheers (or howdy rather) from Austin,Tx.-can't wait to get back to Cali.

Here is all the update I can give for now. The car has about 1000 miles on it and it is at Tuning Technologies right now getting the once over: Checking for boost leaks, fluid leaks, adjusting the throttle cable, etc.

I didn't really want to tune it before now because SoCal has been experiencing a nasty heat wave and I'd prefer the temp to be more representative of the AVERAGE temps around here. So, this week it finally cooled off and I talked to Shiv about letting Alfred and Chris of TT take a crack at tuning the car.

Shiv said that if I don't have a problem with it, neither does he. He wants more folks to tune the Xede, so this is consistent with Shiv's overall goals. This first tune will take place probably this Friday or Saturday. It will be a 91 tune and a conservative 100 octane race gas tune. Nothing aggressive yet. I'll say this: with 91 octane, at 19.5 psi, and 9.6:1 afr the car already pulls like a freight train from 3,500 rpms in 5th 3,700rpms in fourth, and 3900rpms in 3rd.

I can't wait to go up north to see Shiv, Asitha, Dustin, etc. We'll definitely have to slap the car on the DD dyno.

Good to hear that all is going well. Let me know when you'll be heading down to Fontana for some runs.
