It may be the same numbers but not the same exact fuel. Best bet is to get tuned on that fuel poolboy.

As far as price increases.....prices just went up on VP 2 days ago......single digit percent increase. NICE!! Could have been worse.
You guys did 3 maps for me vp 109 being one of them. I spoke with Tim S. and he said the f and L 105 would perform the same as the VP 109 and it's good stuff.

Is he not accurate?

I wouldn't want to have you guys put in a stroker kit if the fuel isn't right

Well, I just went to the 76 station off Chesebro.

91 octane- $3.18 a gallon
100 octane- $4.59 a gallon

It's almost getting to that point where you just want to run 100 octane

The VP rep said to watch the Trick Gas brand. He said they get the octane with octane booster and it separates out. I've run that fuel and haven't had any issues but who knows. The 100 in WLA is $6.35 at Unocal at Bundy and San Vicente - and they've been out for about a week, $6.50 at the Lincoln Unocal and $7.00 at Barrington and Pico Unocal last time I checked.

The $4.59 a gallon looks like a steal compared to those, and yeah, when you think about it, an extra $10 to $15 a fill-up for the hp isn't bad.

That Chesboro station isn't Unocal. I think they have the Trick brand and the

Alliance stations, 2 of them, are at Woodley and Sherman Way, and Desoto and Vanowen iirc. The Woodley one got a batch of 95 instead of their usual 101. Alliance stations carry Sonoco iirc.
