What gear was the pull taken in? First gear will be rather lean. In my experience with that map second gear will be no leaner than 11.2 to 10.8.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't know about ChipTorque's protocol, but I do know the software does change the Xede maps, somehow? Maybe they released their protocol to UK Evo users? By the way, Who is "d"?

The pull was in 3rd gear. Why would AFR vary based on what gear you are in? Sorry for the Noob question, again..... I get that the Turbo has more time to spool up in higher gears, but how does this effect AFR? Or maybe, does it effect the MAF sensor output due to the higher density at higher boost pressures??? Just thinking out load as a noob usually does!!!

So I'm way lean!!!! Right? I thought so. I will try richening it tomorrow to see what happens. Should I also advance ignition at the same time?

I feel like I'm dangerous terratory here. Lean+retard or rich+advance? Again, I'm sorry for sounding like a noob, but I don't have the time or funds to drive to Vishnu to get a proper tune. I hope you undestand. Thanks.

When it gets hot it actually expands and touches the drive shaft (sounds like an F-18 with full afterburner taking off, makes my teeth chatter!). Plus it can't be good for the aft prop shaft!. Anyway, I found a solution, thanks to a bent piece of coat hanger! I just bend it away from the prop shaft (do you Americans call it a prop shaft? Is it a "rear drive shaft"? Yes, I'm a "Limey").
Are you using vishnu's high flow cat? The first time I installed it was upside down (not backwards) and clearance was not what it should have been.

Sorry, it's just dawned on me, you are "d". I tried it every way, front to back, upside down! By the way, your pyXede software rocks, keep it up! It seems that ChipTorque's Xede is only represented by Vishnu? Is this correct?

Yeah, it's "mostly" stock except for the Vishnu Exhaust and Cams and Xede.

It's not really. All of my time vaporized when grad school started. I'm hoping that I can get some hacking time during the holidays this year and get that 2.0 release done. I'm really not looking forward fixing 'windows issues', so i'll restate that if any of you programming types want to give it a try, i'm more than happy to help people figure it out.

As it stands for the next month or two (or three!) have much bigger and badder projects that are demanding my attention (formula sae build, my x86_64 os port).

Hey Max, if you ever want to check your signature exhaust fitment vs. mine, let me know. I live in the Chicago burbs and haven't had any problems with the exhaust fitment (currently connected to AMS downpipe). I'd be very curious to see why yours is off.

The general rule of thumb for 93 octane is the low 11's.

More important, you are running a known configuration thus you shouldn't need to be tweeking the maps. Something is wrong.

Max is running cams without an upgraded fuel pump

I didn't spot the cams statement until now.

No cams, only Vishnu cam gears. Cams will be my next upgrade after I sort out the fuel map. I'm going to zero out the fuel map and see what AFR readings I get. If the "hump" goes away then at least I'll know it's the map and not something mechanical.

On the subject of cams, I was talking to AMS and they recommend 272/272, yet Vishnu recommends 264/272. What are your guys running?

I would recommend 272/272 (set to -4/-1) ... I ran that setup in my car for over a year, and it was very nice. No complaints at all.
