I have just talked to Shiv and the South Vishnu dyno day is on for November 5th and 6th. If enough people show intrest we can also set up a SMART seminal for the evening of the 4th as well. Shiv will post up the prices, but they are the same as listed in the Dyno4mance dyno thread.

It looks like the location will either be in Austin or Dallas. If in Austin it would be held at MZM, if in Dallas at FIS. I am going to get hold of FIS to see about availability and I will have RobertinAustin talk to Mahomed about the prices and availability of MZM.

If we do the SMART seminar we will have to find a place to hold it.

The dyno day will be open to Evo's, Suby's, and Miata's. If someone who is on NASIOC could post over there with a link to here then I would appretiate it. Shiv is going to put up a post in the Miata forums with a link here to sign up.

Please list your name, what kind of car, what you need done (Xede tune, XFlash, ect), and where your location prefference is. The location will be decided based off of the price that the shop charges, and where the people who are getting tuned would like to have it.

Tuning pricing (To Vishnu):
-XEDE custom tunes will be $250 for the first map, and $50 for each additional map.
-$100 XEDEflash
-$25 V3 update
-$545 Xflash custom tuned (first time customer)
-$275 Xflash tuned (repeat customer with existing flash)
-$395 Xflash shelf maps (no dyno time)
-$125 Xflash shelf map update if you have new mods (no dyno time; repeat customer)

We have the dyno at Alamo Autosports. The charge looks to be $60 per car, but I will nail it down today.

Hey guys, it will have to be in Dallas. RobertinAustin Pm'd me and MZM will not rent their dyno out any more. They had a Suby tuner come in last weekend and all did not go well so Mohamed will not let us use it. Shiv specifically said no to Turbochargers.com and to a dyno-pak. Sorry guys.. If there is a nother place then I will entertain the idea, I do not want to run a monopoly on the dyno days, but we do not have too many options. Let me know what you think, and if some of you cannot make it to Dallas then let me know and I can take you off of the list.

If Mohamed has a change of heart in the next few days then we will reconsider Austin, but don't hold your breath.

thanks for the update...do you know if all of the tuning is going to take place on one day?

 

It looks to be a two day deal, but it really depends on how many sign up. If more then 10 then it will have to be two days. Also, I think that Shiv set a limit of 10 people for the SMART seminar, but I will find out for sure. I will also have to find a place to hold the SMART seminar, whether it be at FIS of somewhere else...
