car running funny

My car started doing this thing where it feels like im going to slow for the gear, it usually happens at around 3500-4000 rpms in fifth, but lately its been doing it on 4th and 5th between 3000-4000 rpms. it only happens when im cruising, and if I let of the gas and press it again it goes away till i cruise again. if I dont let of the gas and just try to floor it , it just feels like the car is in a way too high of a gear, and kinda shakes? anyone have this happen to them or anything like this, or have any idea what it could be? any help would be apretiated

That sounds like boost surge. What kind of BOV are you using?

the clutch is fine, I think it is something to do with boost surge, im runing the mr bov, I thought maybe it could be the waste gate too, but who knows, has anyone heard of this happening to anyone else, its weird cause when im stepping on it it runs great no significant power loss, thanks again

just to be sure, did you check all your hose couplings and vacuum lines e.g. on the intake manifold?
