the v500 or v550 is refering to the parts excludng the cams.. its your choice to choose the cams. id go with longer duration cams for a bigger turbo though.

currently my car is a 1+ with 264/272 cam set-up. i'm waiting to get my Stage 2 kit [3071r] and I plan to keep the same cams. the guys at vishnu said that upgraded cams aren't really necessary unless you want every last bit of hp you can get. but basically with a 264/272 you'll have a great car with a nice idle :]

True, but the 280's will yeild a large top end gain, and if you are going through vishnu, you will already have their camgears which are pre set, and shiv will know how to set up the 280's to run right with a little camgear adjustment... Alot of people put down the 280's as being too harsh and too much, but honestly i have not heard ONE evo owner who HAS 280's complain about them.
