MIVEC definately improves spool but I also believe that the IX turbo has lighter internals...

You sure? I thought that was just the JDM version, but I am not certain.

no usdm have mag turbine....lighter= faster! lol

mivec helps spool faster as well.

Mag compressor wheel, not turbine.
