Hahahah. That's me who went agricultural.

I think my best from session 4 was 2:07. I think I ran a couple 2:05's in Session 3. Street tires/stock suspension.

My spin was a failed trailbrake attempt after T9. D'oh. Fun stuff, though. Happy to be alive. T10 is a very ugly place to spin.

Next thing we knew we were facing the wrong direction going backwards at about 30-35 mph facing all of the Porsche's that had been behind us. He started listening to me when I explained heel-toe shifting so that you would always be in the proper gear after that.
Fortunately, i experienced no big "incidences" on the track. Surprising considering they stuck me in the Race group/group 4. I was driving it about as hard as I wanted to given my lack of experience in Porsches and normal street tires. Modern 911s do feel reeeaaaly nice up to 7/10ths and progressively scarey beyond that. But once you figure out how NOT to drive it, they can feel really good pushed right up to the limit. However, it takes a driver far better than myself to keep it there, corner after corner (let alone lap after lap). Especially on a track as ridiculously unforgiving as Sears. At the more mickey-mouse Thunderhill, I was driving more like my traditional jackass-like self

Shiv

p.s and yeah, sean is really lucky he managed to spin in turn 10 and not end up in a wall!!

Umm..in the last session for group 3 that day, some dude in a z4 nailed this guy in his 911 on T11...and then straight bounced. He just up and left the track like a little b*tch.
