How can I log A/F and Knock

How can I log A/F ratio and knock thought the xede/xmap without upgrading to SMART. I know I have to buy some stuff (WB O2 & knocklink/or similar thing), but what?? and how would I hook it up and log it. I searched a bunch but could find what I needed.

I've got news for you bud.. if you buy a wideband O2 sensor and the knockbox, you ARE SMART.

But, I havent seen Vishnu sell the knockbox by itself. i think they make you buy it in the kit. you can check though.

other than that, all you need is an Innovate LC-1.

I dont want the "Self Monitoring Active" part of SMART, i.e. I dont want smart to change stuff on the fly and switch maps and such. I just want to log A/f ratio and knock so I can do my own tuning.

on all the SMART maps, there are two tables, SMART Timing and Fuel threshold. On the timing table just fill it in with 0s, the fuel threshold table fill in -100%. thats it. with those two changes, you've just turned off the SMART system. there is nothing else to it.
