Lc-1 wideband or smart

Is it possible to use an Innovaive LC-1 wideband and datalog it from the XEDE ??

Can I datalog the A/F with the smart upgrade?

Im having doubts on what to buy, if I get Smart or use just an LC-1 for tuning purposes.

Is smart worth the money?

The LC-1 is just a tool for tuning. Xede/SMART is a tuning solution.

Just connect the LC-1's second output (0-5v) to the Xede's AN1 input and use Commslog to capture the data to a CSV file. Excel will be your friend at that point.

I'm not sure what version of the Xede's firmware first started supporting high speed data logging but there is no reason not to install the latest version which clearly does support commslog.

But without the smart system you will not have the knock box thus will not be able to log knock.
