Today's Shop pics
The new dyno cell is still under construction. Still have to paint and texturize the walls. Fresh air duct is in full effect. And exhaust fumes dump right outside so no more CO contamination!
As for todays pics:
Navid's championship winning autox car getting tuned up for next week's time attack. It made 307whp on 100oct with just a turbo-back and an XEDE.

The only car missing from today's tuning was a Porsche 996. Other than that, we all our bases covered (EVO, STi, Mazdaspeed Miata and an Elise. All with XEDES and all making good power)

A pretty cool pic of a really pretty car. Picked up alarmingly good power given the fact it is NA and highly strung out in stock form. All of a sudden, it's no longer a dog below it's 6200rpm cam switchover

Cheers,
shiv

shiv ok, seriously, go download picasa 2 www.picasa.com. It's a neat little free software program that allows you to resize pictures. Mind you we are not viewing these pictures on God's computer.

See? I did it all for leif
Shiv
ps. And yep, I expect the XEDE to work just fine on the Cayman. Any Porche in fact
pss. In the Elise, the XEDE picked up about 10ft-lbs of torque betweein 2000 and 6200rpm and 7-8ft-lbs between 6200 and 8500rpm. With such a low torque engine, that's like a 5-6% gain in some areas.. lol. It's really amazing how much better it feels. Especially at partial throttle and between the cam switchover. Feels like we shaved 200lbs of weight off the car when just casually driving around

Hey Shiv,
I am getting an Exige mid- next year. Is that Elise running a test Xede that one day soon may become a common product that you sell. I would love to get an Xede for my Exige and tune it for more tourque and hp, yet still dependable, albiet N/A guise. I was hoping to be able to get the car to somewhere around 220hp without hugely costly mods. Not sure how doable that would be. But if it could be done i am sure if there was a product that could do it would be the Xede, possibly CAI, cat removal and higher flow exhaust. Also do you think it would be possible for the Xede to control the lo/hi cam duration transition. it would really be nice to lower that transition from 6200 to 5200.
Anyway i just wanted to let you know there is some Elise/Exige interest out there concerning the Xede.
If you are working on a Lotus solution , do tell. I (or I suspect we) would Love to hear about it.
Thanks
Stephen Bienvenu
ps I just noticed there names rythm, They are destined for each other.. Hint.. Hint...
