I like your thinking
I tossed in the XEDE status led, LC-1 status led, XEDE map toggle and LC-1 calibration.

It looks better in person as the camera really seems to pick up the dirt and imperfections.

Looks nice. I have my water injection indicator lights and flow meter located in my ashtray. I wish I had more room to mount the switch and lights like you did in the ashtray.

Connectors

I used 0460-202-2031 but I am sure the Nickel ones will be fine for the led.
I soldered mine

I never knew this. I have had my xede for almost 3 years and I have never heard this before. I guess that is what I get for living in the middle of the swamps.
