Finding V300 93 Octane V3.2 Smart-Disabled Map for 2005

It looks to me that the only maps available are for V360 and V390. Are the maps posted anywhere else for the V3.2 Smart-Disabled Subzero (stock) 93 octane Map for a 2005? Shiv said he starts with a conservative tune which I assume to be the 91 map.

On an unrelated side note, I tried starting my car up this evening and it clunked and didn't start. I tried it again and it clunked but started. It ran fine and when I parked it again I started it up a couple times and no problems... any ideas?

Thanks,
Adam

The engine turned over when I turned the key but it made a clanking or clanging sound and didn't start. I turned the key again and it made the sound again but started after that. It ran fine and when I parked it I started it and turned it back off a couple times without hearing the sound again. I drove it all day yesterday and today without issue. 3000 miles total and nothing has been touched under the hood.

I have a similar issue, I think. Every other time I start the car, sometimes it's as if power to the starter gets cut for 200ms or so. The car always starts but the interruption is a nuisance.

XEDE v3, I suspect it might be a loose wire in some ECU/XEDE harness, not sure.

Hmm, that doesn't sound too dangerous ez76... that makes me a little less worried.

Does anyone have directions for me to find the maps for the V300?

Nope....I have the same problem....feels like the car wants to pop off but then doesn't. Feels like trying to start a very high compression car.

Mine only does it once every 10 starts. If you keep cranking....it will start even after what I call a misfire start.

As for the maps I need some of the lower 2005 maps as well.

Would someone email me: Stage zero plus for a 2005

I get the misfire starts on the latest firmware as well.. just a minor inconvenience. I'd also like a 0+ map for 2005. If someone has could send it please.. l_v_@yahoo.com

I know the problem that you guys are referring to. It only happens to me when I don't let the Xede properly initialize. I always let it power on 10-15 second before cranking the engine.

Really, so we should turn the key and let it sit for a few seconds before cranking it?

EDIT: I just got it Saturday so I don't think Shiv would install an old version...?

I usually wait about 10 secs before starting. I just installed an external LED so we'll see if I still get the same problem.

I also noticed that sometimes the xede won't initialize correctly. I wait for a blinking light, then crank, but the light stays orange.

Some people may not agree with me, but the Xede does come ready quicker when it has less to load. That said you can use the latest version of Xmap and rewire the maps to bypass those that you are not using (e.g. those that are zero'ed out). Then delete the then useless maps.

Rewire the maps?

I wish Vish would just produce two sets of maps....one with one without instead of forcing the non-smart users to load dummy maps.
