They said our cars were too loud, too fast, and we took up too much of their prescious space! I really dont know, but someone had a corn-cob mis-placed!!The sales manager or something. He kept shortening the dyno-day, and basically wanted us out as soon as possible. instead of dyno as long as it takes, we all basically has 1/2 hour each on the Dyno. Not Vishnu/Shivs fault of course, that place just BLOWS!

 

Ha! When I spoke to the service manager and one of the sales persons near the end of the day, they mentioned that we should come back because we brought them luck. They sold that GT-3 and the Carrera GT that afternoon.

 

Do you think this will happen? Midwest that is.....

I'm in if it comes to AXIS in STL. I'll be picking up the Exde and smart with that sale they are having and who better to tune it.

 

If he does come to STL, then I'm in...especially with the Xede sale. I just hope it could be March. I will be in Europe for most of April.

I will dig out Ron's numbers and try to get a hold of him today. I know how the STL community is about actually DOING something from trying to get a few people to show and BS for a couple of hours...

I will try to post up my luck with Ron tonight. We need to make this happen people! I would be willing to get him a free room at a Hilton property for a weekend if you all would get going on this!

Hey Shiv...if you see this, is there a time in March ( see above) that works for you?

 

As I said I would, I spoke to Ron @ Axis Power Racing today. He said that he knew Shiv well and would welcome him having a dyno day at his facility. Ron also stated that he would work with us on dates to be available.

As a side note, Ron got his dyno moved to his new location in Collinsville, IL which is about ten minutes away from his old Belleville location.

I have PM'd Shiv about doing a session this spring in STL...All I can do now is wait for him to reply.

Keep your fingers crossed people!

 

Bump...Maybe if we get some people to start saying they are interested and would attend, that would help to get Shiv to St. Louis???

I would prefer April as there is still snow on the ground here in Michigan. If Shiv does not plan on coming out to Chicago, then I guess I'm in (16 hr round trip). What Xede/Smart sale are you talking about?

Just get the cars and I'll come At a DD dyno, I should have no problem doing 10 cars/day. Just expect the day to start early and go on to whenever we get done. While the next car is being strapped and fitted with sensors, the previous just-tuned car gets tested on the road.
