ok when i purchased the kit i told issac to preprogram my xede but when put all the things on my car execpt the brass restrictor was not pulled out! then i went and pulled it out and added the emulator to it just like the pic on the vishnu site and boost went up again to 1.3 bar but just on fifth gear!! so i thought maybe issac did not send it preprogramed cause in vishnus site it says it that when preprogram it will be labeled accordingly and my xede was not labeled with anything! so i down loaded the v3.2 smart disabled map for the v360 91 octane and i uploaded it to my xede with my laptop in some part of the process it threw me and error saying it was no being compatible but i overwrited it and it seemed to work fine!

Have you downloaded the map from you XEDE onto your laptop? If not, please do it and see what the numbers in the boost table are.

If they are low (below 50%), that is your problem. If they are high (80-100%) and your boost is still low, set them all to ZERO and see if you boost drops lower than it already is. If it remains the same, you're boost control wires aren't hooked up right (ie. Your XEDE isn't controlling boost at all). 1.2bar sounds like the mechanical wastegate spring pressure so this is likely to be the case.

i know my car came limited on boost cause always since new the boost would betwenn 1.1 and 1.2 on 1 2 3 gear and on 4 and 5 gear it would raise between 1.2 and 1.3 bar and see here on this forum most people on the 2005 models peak boost between 1.4 and 1.5 bar why would japan send my car limited to this boost???

I'll jump in and give you my 2c.

You shouldn't touch the wastegate setup at this juncture. It isn't likely to be the cause of your low boost problem.

Download the maps from the Xede, zero out all cells in (only) the boost table and upload the maps back to the Xede. Don't bother flashing the maps. Don't switch off the ignition and take the car for a drive and see if the boost changes.

If the boost doesn't change, as Shiv cited, the likely reason for this issue is that the boost control wires are not correctly connected to the car's ECU harness. See attached instructions.

ive reconfirmed twice the instalation of the boost wires. anyways my car since new has had a low boost! also i think but not sure if the 5speed RS evo 8 jdm has a 9.8 hotside and the the 6 speed has the 10.5 hotside! do you think this might be my low boost ? but still need to change the table boost to zeros to see if boost changes!!

No either will develop more than 1.2 kg/cm2 or bar.

Just a few other thoughts...

If the boost wires are correct then the waste gate control hoses should be considered. Is this a new car (and untouched from the factory) or is it possible that someone changed the hoses?

The boost wires are easy to misconnect given that there are two green wires on the ECU harness. It wouldn't be the first time if someone got it wrong.

To be sure, has the boost gauge your using been validated?

also what i was thinking is could i disconect the 2 vaccum hoses below the air box and use the passive emulator to hook them up together as the 2003 2004 models? also does the 2003 2004 model bring the restrictor pill? cause my car it had and i removed it! cause after instaling the xede i went for a test drive with the pill in and i wouldnt even pass 1.1 bar so i tooked it out and boost went up to barley touching 1.3 bar in fifth gear only at more then 110mph the previous gears it reads a lower boost!!
so what do you think shiv do i try to connect the passive boost emulator as with the 2003 and 2004 models??

You misread the web page. The passive emulator is normally only used with a Xflash. It is not used with a Xede except if advised by Vishnu. (I don't think you are at that point yet.)

Testing with a zero'ed out boost table will confirm the boost wires are connected correctly.

Note that 1.2 bar is what will occur if the Xede isn't controlling the boost (e.g. not connected correctly, wrong maps, etc).
