I'm running 20-21 peak boost. I've heard of 24 on a stock turbo but had arp head studs installed and other basic add ons.........hope that helps. For longevity reasons, I would keep it around 21 psi.

probably, but I honestly dont know. I only can tell you what my car is tuned at and what I remember Shiv telling me.....give them a call or pm them....

 

i ask cause iam seeing in my car like 1.55bar which is 22.48psi? i just want to know if this is a safe boost level when using 91oct??

 

no. Go no higher than 21 or you risk detonation and serious engine damage.

 

I was doing 28PSI peak before and after the alcohol kit. I was able to hold 24-25PSI for a few seconds in 4th , 5th and 6th gear.

I ran my car at this levels on 91 basicly since I did the full exhaust, MBC CAI and the first tunning. Absolutely not a single issue of detonation yet.

 

and what about our friends at vishnu what do they say?

 

is that max boost at WOT in 5th gear?...i wanna get a MBC, but don't know how to use one...if i did, i prolly would've adjusted the boost to hit 19psi at WOT to 7000 rpm in 5th gear....please tell me that's right...

there isn't set pressure for 91 gas. it all depends on your car's condition and mods. For example, if you add more timing to your car, the car will detonate like crazy at even 18 psi. but if you really restard the timing you can push to like 23 psi. And during the cold winter, you can boost even higher. Only way to find out is to tune your car and see when it starts to detonate.

 

I run around peaking at 22psi on my 05
