Xede Manual

We need an Xede manual, Ive looked all over the web, even the chiptorque and Xede websites, and nothing breaksdown the Xede for you

Example:led output voltage and current rating for remote indication
wideband input variables
knock input variables
a A/F conversion would be helpful

how to use some of the options available- like high speed datalogging
WHERE THE HELL IS THE LOG STORED?????
mine says there is always a problem error or something

this should be a sticky (manual)

Im willing to learn just need some info
If there is somewhere I have not checked or a thread I have not seen
please let me know I hope this is not offensive.

This should help.

Also Vishnu has posted a SMART tuning guide, as well as an older non-SMART guide. You will need to do a search. I would post them but they are too large.

Example:led output voltage and current rating for remote indication
Good question. Does the Xede have current limiting internal or are you expected to put a resistor external to the Xede. You could just use a resistor assuming 5v and give it a try. It isn't like LED's are made out of gold.

wideband input variables

What? They are 0-5v analog inputs if that is what you mean. That is documented in the Xmap help file.

a A/F conversion would be helpful
That depends on the wideband, but for the default LC-1 refer to the SMART tuning guide.

On the Vishnu web link where all of the SMART "stuff" is stored you will find commslog, which is the software to implement high speed logging. I'm afraid in the beta Xmap version, high speed logging is not working.

The Xede doesn't store the log. The data is sent real time to your PC which saves it on disk.

All this is on this forum in one thread or another.
