I'm looking to put a remote LED in for my xede. I see on the wire colors in XMap, that there is a place for this led. How would I go about hooking one up? I tried searching but haven't found any info on this.

Thanks asasin79 for the tip. I was just looking at my Xede harness today to figure out how I was going to do the remote LED, then I saw your post. I figured I would need some Deutsch pins to make this work, so I ordered the pins online and should be set to go once they arrive.

 

you're welcome. yeah...or if you have an old xede harness just pull some wires from that.

 

funy thing, I was just looking for those two posts with the remoste LED. It took me 2 days to find it, I almost gave up on searching

 

I finally had a chance to do the remote LED today and it turned out pretty good. I used a reverse polarity red/green LED and mounted it in the ashtray along with my water injection meter/LED's. Now I will know if the Xede has powered up correctly and won't get stuck at the dragstrip on low boost ever again.
