i believe it does, same intercept style as the ecu+. intercept as in cam angle sensor.

also can be used with an afr targeting system when coupled with a wideband o2 sensor. i guess that's their plug towards a smart system.

What is the deal with the connectors...feels like it has been 1/2 year already. Can we do something to urge/help your suppliers to get these things out?

It's been 8 months, looks like a No. Best thing now seems to be ecuflash if you have someone who can tune it.

Pretty obvious!

They seem like they just make the same for a re-flash etc. so why should they sell the xedy so that you can learn to tune your own for free. You would be taking money outa thier mouths. The flash they offer is like $795 or something and everytime you need to change it it costs more money. It's not like the xedy with the free bolt on maps for free downloads. I sold my xedy and gave up.

True, and I was going to do the flash they sell until I found it locks everyone out of the ecu even . So the only option I have that I can change back to stock and tune is openecu unless someone knows of anything else.

Could I just have them e-mail me a map and pay the normal price and not have any downtime?

I dont know. I talked to them bout flashing my car with ECUFlash and they said they would at regular IX flashing price (750 for baseflash, +250 for custom tune). I never talked to them about emailing the map (I live only bout 3 hours from vishnu), but that would be a good idea.

Vishnu, would you email ECUFlash maps for the IX at the regular IX flashing price??
