The whole reason to offer this is for everyone to have a very good idea of how well their car is tuned and if it is making the power the owner expects it to. There are three independant shop willing to offer this service to EVO owners. If you want to question or even complain about it, that's fine. It seems that there are already a handful of people who want to take us up on the offer.

I think it would be interesting to take the cars which you "tune" on your famous dyno and then get them properly data logged being driven in real world conditions and driven on race tracks to see how accurate the dyno tunes are to a real world load condition - such as driving up a nice incline. Sadly, I am way too busy to waste my time or care just how accurately your famous dyno replicates real world conditions, so I can not offer any special discounts to accomplish this rather trivial task.

It's interesting to note that none of your tuned cars won any of the previous dyno contests in your area. Ironically the small handful of cars I tuned in that area continue to be some of the fastest and most powerful - even on dynos.

I feel sorry for you that your business is so stagnent that you have to spend your time dreaming up publicity stunts like this one.

I also saw that the gruppe-s mustang dyno and the full function mustang dyno are being used as well.

Al,
There's only one thing I see here that is stagnant. And it's not our dyno tuning business

Furthermore, if you have the time and inclination to respond in this thread, surely you can do so in the other. We're still waiting for RPM log data on Paul's IX and Run #1 on Az3ar's EVO. Is there a reason you don't want to provide this?

shiv

I think this is great for the EVOM consumer that wants quantifiable evidence concerning their tune. Shiv,I think u need to make a list, or create a new thread, for all Road Tuned cars dynoed from all four shops. In all, I believe there will be some good tunes, but from what I have witnessed out here there will be inconsistency. I hope u guys agree to post up the outliners,good/bad results and don't hold anything back.

Wow.

For those of you following this thread I only have on thing to say. PLEASE watch this week, more than likely Monday, for a comparison I did at the shop late Friday.

There needs to be some real facts posted about tuning and you aren't going to find them here.

Shiv,
Are you going to try to get any Southern California shops with dynos to participate?

I don't think I need to do much from the looks of it If any other shop wants to offer the same service, just have 'em call me and I'll add them to the partnership list.

-shiv

PS. Just added Dyno4mance to the partnership list

Will the data possibly lead to something else? Sure, we don't need a clever person to figure this out. The data will be analyzed/critiqued and used for future discussions.

I don't know about the others, but we already have a bunch of stock IX in our dyno database. Thanks for offering though

Turbotrix added To DTT

Just got a call from Mark at Turbotrix. Looks like they want to be added to the Dyno Testing Team network It's going nation-wide folks!

I'll update the fist post accordingly...

Cheers,
shiv
