i just did a comparitive acceleration test to see what teh stage 2 is capable of on 91. 2006 c6 vette: 2 runs up to 145mph for 3rd gear 4500rpm roll on and i pulled him 2.5 cars both times. I must say even on 91 octane the stage 2 is pretty damn fast even at 21-22 psi. Thanks shiv for a great tune. I always thought evos were slow on 91 on the highway.

 

Man, now I want to stage 2 even more!!!

That is pretty quick , the C6 2006 Vete is on par with the C5 Z06 performance wise

 

What are your stage 2 numbers on pump so everyone has an idea what kind of power your putting down. Also what type of dyno if it wasnt at Vishnu.

 

odly enough i only made like 315- 320 whp on shivs dyno on 91 (dyno dynamics aka the moon dyno). one would think that wouldnt be enough to pull 2+ cars on a c6 at such high speeds but surely enough it did twice. That car makes arround 350-360 whp so i know my car is makin a bit more than that. on a dyno jet.

No doubt.. So it seems like vette would totaly walk you, but we all know the "moon dyno" has magical powers, right. It's the dyno I like the call the heart breaker. Always reads nice and low, I love it. People will be like "aww man that isnt much power" tehehehe.

a few days back on a 360 tune i walked some cobras with pulley i/h/e on the freeway so i guess teh little 2 liter is pretty quick on the highway!
i cant wait till i get a high boost tune on race gas!!

 

any idea what you car would make on 91 and meth?

 

on race gas it makes arroun 400 whp on shiv's dd. i would like to see 415. so i can be like I.E. and get 496 on a dyno jet.

 

This is off topic, but how do you like your rps clutch? I had one on my 03 (not as aggresive as your clutch) and loved it. The exedy twin I have now is taking some time to get used to. I also as because a friend of mine is intrested in the rps carbon.

 

He is not loving that clutch. Shifting at high Rpms is much like a single disk. It will lock u out or u have to shift slower to get in gear at the higher rpms. That is basically what the Street King told me.

 

Good post Street King; I am glad u finally got the right turbo on ur car. I remember the fun i used to have back in the day.

 

that break boost is quite an impressive tool.
