Unhappy Am Unplugging Xede Tomorrow to Troubleshoot!!

My problem of WOT misfire, machine gunning, hesitation is GONE. I can go from a stop, to 7K, shift, repeat, and the boost climbs, No misfire. That is the good news.
Tonight I was out, and had the car in 5th gear, about 3K rpm, and I stepped on it, and I heard the POP-POP return. It came on quickly about 3250-3300 RPM, like when I put more gas in it. Immediate. And the clunking is still in my glovebox, and wont go away. I will try to disconnect the Xede, and just run the Xede Flash. if the problem is gone, could it be something in the wiring harness? any other ideas?

I later stopped on a country road, and took off "quickly" getting to 22psi of boost, WOT, and the problem did as the first sentence says. NO PROBLEM THERE! If I am in 5th, at 3K rpm, and stomp on the gas (not harsh to the floor) but quick on the gas pedal, this issue returns. I can take a video of it tomorrow, so you can "hear" it for your self. It is amplified obviously, with the use of the side-pipe. I will post it on here tomorrow so you can SEE and HEAR what I am talking about.

Will film my boost guage/AEM UEGO gauge on the dash, and what they do when I get the Pop-pop. Yet another expierement is under way!!!

Tomorrows video clips:

1. What the "sound" sounds like, and where on the rpm band

Will do from stop,7k RPM shift, most gears. (saftey first) and in 5th gear and stomp!

2. See What the gauges are showing me at the time of the "machine gunning"
3. What happens with a coil change?
4. What happens with the Xede Dis-connected.

This might help some of you, and bore the rest of you. You will hear what I am talking about.

maybe its just too cold where you are and you're running too much boost? What boost levels are you running?

It is a bit chilly, but when I stepped on the gas in 5th gear, I would assume the boost went up to maybe 10psi? I wasnt hard in the boost there when the problems started. I was hard in the boost from a stop to 7K, 2nd to 7K etc...

5th and 3,000 rpm your probably doing about 70 mph or so. I had the same thing happen, stomp on it in 5th gear with it around 40 degrees and you get a hard, really hard shutter in the car and the check engine light pops on. Its from your mass air thinking too much air is coming in...plus you are putting strain on the turbo stomping on it in 5th. You need the ECU reflash to remove the factory mass air setting preventing overboost.

At least that is what it sounds like to me....
