I've got a set of low mileage HKS 264's (less than 3K miles) I just pulled out of my car, for sale if anyone with stock cams wants to make a last minute change prior to the dyno. They idle like stock, asking $350 and since it's local, no shipping! PM if interested. Sorry to hijack this thread like this, just trying to help anyone who wants to make a last minute change.

Has anyone checked the weather for Sat.? Predicting clear, low humidity, lows in the 40's and high of 70. Perfect!

Here's another idea.. let me know what you guys think:

We found a good ticket which gets Shiv out to TX on Friday morning and brings him back Saturday night. Why don't we dyno a few cars on Friday and and rest on Saturday. The advantage of this approach is that there wont be any major time crunk on Saturday. Nor will he miss his flight to come back to CA (as he usually does). This approach takes the pressure off of everyone... especially if we can get 3 or 4 cars done on Friday. Not too early since the ticket has him arrive in Houston at 4am. Let the guy get some sleep and maybes start on Friday at 1PM or so.

Does this sound good?

 

When does he leave on Saturday on that? I know he gets in a time crunch at the end. I don't want to waste his time but I don't want anyone to get screwed either.

 

Ok who wants to go on Friday? I'm in on Friday at 1 pm.

 

He doesn't have a schedule yet. We're waiting on the word from you guys. If we can get a few cars in on Friday, we could be finished early on Saturday (by 4 or 5pm) and Shiv can catch a 8 or 9pm flight back home.

 

I can do Friday also, if I can get the 2:30 slot behind Jorge. Friggin Kingwood is a pain in the **** drive home in Friday afternoon rush-hour traffic! 7:30 am Saturday works better for me, but if we need volunteers for Friday to make this work for Shiv, I'm in. I'm also assuming the start time on Saturday will be a bit later, if we aren't trying to fit 10 cars in, yes?

damn, I would love to be there, but I am still in Korea. Shiv any estimate on when you will be down around the south or southeast again???

I seriously doubt that I'll be able to be in Houston by 6:30 on Saturday. The job I'm supposed to go on for Saturday is in the Valley so I might not be able to even leave before 5. It could always cancel, but at this point it isn't looking good for me on Saturday that early.
