Xede going into gimp mode..

Ever since I upgraded to V3 (which was fairly recently), I've had a little problem with xede that crops up now and again. When I nail it...I notice it's a bit slugish to respond, and my boost is neutered to about 10 psi max. SO I check the LED on the Xede, and sure enough, its orange. If I stop the car, shutdown & restart, all is right again.
Now this has not been happening long enough for me to see if it happens right at startup, or while driving. I havent tried to log anything yet, I just thought I'd start here to try and track down whats going on. My only mods are the Xede & a turboback exhaust (for now!)

It is a problem that crops up with the XEDE occasionally. Mine does it too.
The solution is to turn on the ignition, fasten your seatbelt, then start the car. This gives the XEDE time to initialize properly. Works every time

Before you start the car, key on and wait 1-2 seconds for all the maps to load up. This should fix it.

V3 has more maps and features and it takes a bit longer for it to boot up. Next time, hold your key to the "on" position for a second or two before starting the car. This should give the XEDE time to properly boot up.

doh... beat me to it
