XEDE on an SVT Focus?

Just a random thought... In my Caterham I am currently running an SVT focus engine. It is in a fairly high state of tune with 12:1 compression, throttle body per cylinder fuel injection etc.

I am really loving some of the features that Shiv keeps developing for the XEDE on the Evo and I was wondering on the possibility of adapting one to work with the Ford instead.

Xede's have been used on fords for quite a while:

Of course, you're application is fairly radical. I have a case study of a ZX3 focus build up on my desk here. It's pretty insane -- almost 400 whp. How different is the SVT engine?

EDIT: Here's a good excerpt --

"From a performance point of view, the stock Focus rods are, well, _cute_ is a kind word for what they are. They _will_ fail catastrophically if you run them at high boost and high rpm...In fact, Alamo managed to break all four rods at once while racing a Z06 Corvette at high rpm and more than 150 mph in a Focus turbo at 9-psi"

*sweet*

The SVT head is designed by Cosworth and flows considerably more than the ZX3. The SVT block also has oil squirters for the back of the pistons as well as better rods (and possibly pistons) It also has a completely different fuel system -- however not what I am using

I am planning on staying normally aspirated and not forced induction as it is really nice to have the linear power delivery for the track.

Ironically what is currently installed is a ZX3 engine and I am presently upgrading to an SVT long block for the reasons mentioned above. Leak down was 14, 14, 14, 35 after 10K miles.

I am interested in the XEDE for the SMART features. Tuning the air/fuel dynamically as well as knock monitoring due to the high compression. How likely is it that these features could be adapted? Probably a bit of a one off application
