Ditto I saw one make 267whp but it was with 93 with a few gallons of 104 added. So it is possible on 93 but on 91 maybe with cam gears,TB,MBC,no Cat?

 

You can make more than 265 whp with stock cams and (mostly) stock turbo. My '03 VIII made 280 whp on Dyno4mance's DD dyno with the following:

• 3" TBE (no cat)
• 10.5 Hotside -- this is why I said "mostly" stock
• Cam gears
• SMART Xede
• Walbro FP
• BR8ES

This is a stage 1 (v360) car with the stock cams, on 93 octane. My peak torque is nothing phenomenal (248 ft/lbs), but it holds it well to make peak hp at 7200 RPM. You can see the dyno chart here.

However, I still think it's pretty amazing what the IX can do with just the exhaust and reflash. It will also have higher peak torque from what I've seen.

 

I think the previous poster has an EVO 9 not an 8.

YES I HAVE AN EVO 9 MR WITH A TURBO BACK EXHAUST, WITH STOCK CAT, AND A MBC at 21psi, AND I HAVE NO FLASH. I PUT 265.9 awhp on DYNO4MANCE's DD DYNO
