Thumbs up 310whp on EVO IX

FWIW, we made 310whp/310lb-ft on an mildly modified EVO IX today. It had a full 3" exhaust, no cat and an HKS intake. This is on 91oct. Unfortunately, we ran into issues with the tuning laptop so we didn't get to finish the job. By the looks of it, we should be able to wrap it up on Wednesday. But so far, so good. This is one spectacular turbo. Peak boost is 23psi, falling off to 19psi by 7500rpm. Graphs to come on Wednesday...

The car still uses the factory boost control system. No MBC or EBC.

That sounds great...is Shiv changing his stance on the factory airbox for the IX or was this just how the particular car was configured?

You can bet your left nut that Shiv isn't going to change his views on the factory airbox. Great numbers!

David,
Since Shiv got put in "time-out", he should have plenty of time to come to Denver and get us (Donour and I) tuned!!!

I don't think the numbers would be much lower with a standard airbox and the hf drop in filter.
