Intermitent boost cut?

So I was on my way home from work on the highway, and I started to accelerate in 4th gear. BOOM!!! WTF? I thought uh-oh, that doesn't sound good thinking something just went. Then I realize the car still sounds normal, no bad noises. So I start to accelerate again BOOM. Well, this doesn't feel like fuel cut (pop-pop-pop). This is the whole car lurches forward, like you put on the brakes. Seemed to happen only during WOT.

So I pulled off the highway just to make sure. Everything seems fine. Idle sounds normal. Car drives normaly when in vacuum. I turn the car off, wait about a minute. Restart, then get back on the highway. I'm in second roll into boost hit 12 psi, then I go WOT. BOOM.

SO I take it careful all the way home. Right before I get home I get on it one more time. Normal. A second time, this time WOT @ 3,000 rpms in 2nd all the way to redline. Normal. Ok...now I'm confused.

The only thing I can think of is that about twice in the last week the car hiccuped at WOT in 4th. Could I need new spark plugs? Just trying to figure out what's going on. BTW, I am running SMART. Thanks.

Do you have an xede flash? If not, you can test if it is boost cut or not by dropping the boost down, and seeing if it still happens.

UPDATE:

Went to Tuning Technologies. They still rule, BTW.

Put in new spark plugs. Then swapped in a new set of coils. Perfect. Then swapped in old 2-3 coil. Perfect. Then, for ****s and giggles, we swapped in my old 1-4 coil. Still perfect. Ended up being my spark plugs. Interesting. Anyway, nice to know that it was such a simple fix. Also did a boost leak pressure test, and theat ended up fine too.
